Soap-Nut Power!

What are Soap Nuts? How can I use them?

Soap Nuts (sometimes referred to as Soapberries) are the seed pod and shell of the Soap Nut Tree - Sapindus Mukorossi.

They contain Saponin, a naturally occurring detergent and cleaning soap and have been used for centuries in India to clean clothes, skin and hair!

There are no commercial plantations for soap nut trees and instead they are collected by farmers as they fall from the tree in the Himalayas and India.

Our soapnuts and soap nut powder provide a 100% natural, compostable and non polluting alternative for detergents and synthetic chemicals in soaps.

If you have sensitive skin or allergies, soapnuts are perfect for you as they don't contain any chemicals and are hypoallergenic and they are not actually nuts!

The list goes on - soapnuts are:

  • Vegan

  • Eco-friendly

  • Economy friendly

  • Cruelty free

  • Compostable and biodegradable

  • Chemical free

  • Ethically sourced

  • Organic
